It makes typing text and mails lot easier....
i don't see much disadvantages...may be much games wont work which
need regular keypad...

What's the context. a qwerty makes typing much easier and more accurate. Helps a lot for text addicts who doesn't like to keep watching the keypad while typing. only disadvantage is that it makes the mobile look a bit and landspace slider is the best solution.

I have raised this issue as I have seen many people asking for models with out qwerty?

I use my mob for GPRS internet browsing mainly apart from the normal general usage,no gaming etc. and as such raised this as I have never used a qwerty mobile so far and planning to by a new mob.
