No. Sending SMS over Bluetooth is not possible. You wont find option for that even.

Try WhatsApp for sending messages over GPRS/3G/Wifi (internet). The other person also needs to have WhatsApp and be online. It is a kind of Instant Messenger. Much like BlackBerry Messenger. Messaging is free, but you'll have to pay internet charges.

This article explains how to send and receive SMS messages using Bluetooth.

If your computer and cellular phone are both Bluetooth-enabled, and your phone service supports it, you can use Address Book to send and receive SMS (short message service) text messages.

Use the Bluetooth pane of System Preferences to pair your computer to your phone. This allows the devices to wirelessly exchange information. When a phone is paired and within range, the Bluetooth logo appears in the Address Book window. Click the Bluetooth button to search for previously paired phones that are within range. To send an SMS message, click any phone number label, such as "home", on an address card. Choose Send SMS Message from the pop-up menu. Be sure that the phone number you choose is a cell phone that is capable of receiving SMS messages. When an SMS message arrives for you, a window appears on your screen. If the number for the cell phone that sent the message is in your address book, the name of the sender appears with the message. Click Save to Note to add the message to the person's address card.

The Address Book application must be open for you to receive SMS messages on your computer. For compatibility worldwide, calling numbers displayed by Address Book might be formatted differently than you expect, this is normal.
