Re: Windows Mobile
I have used windows phone for almost last 2year and now I switched to android, must say it is much-much better than windows.
BTW if u wanna buy a windows then go for Winddows 7 coz 6.5 is quite old(its a crap) and lacks a lot of features too

Re: Windows Mobile
Been using WM myself since the likes of O2,i can understand your necessity but still though it looks as you have tried quite a lot of OS's,but want to go for WM,my advice would be try android at least once(Me too ditched my diamond 2 in favour of Desire),if already done that then go for HTC HD2,the best WM to date...may be the last also. Also if you need a physical keyboard nothing come close of HTC Touch PRO 2(officially not launched in India).

Just because Android is open source does not make it less secure... it actually makes it more secure because everyone can look at the code and patch any vulnerabilities they find. Open source software are very secure.
Its inconceivable to see anyone spending 20k on an outdated OS like WM 6.5
Still, as others say, if you want to jump into a well, I can't stop you. Get yourself an HTC HD2 (Dual boot it to Android. You will love it... )

Who told you that? Some Microsoft MVP or Steve Ballmer?
Pure and utter FUD.
No Windows Mobile is worth it at this point I am afraid. WM 6.5 is crap, outdated and simply not a good option at this time. WP7 has a LONG way to go, not enough appeal as of yet. Wait for Nokia WP7 phones if you really wish to stick with the MSFT based platform.
What's your budget anyhow? If you are "open" (pun intended) for Android, and budget is say 10k and below go for LG Optimus One P500, and for higher budget like 20k+ go for HTC Desire S. You may even go for an iPhone if you can increase you budget further. Each of the platforms and mobiles are way better than any Windows handset.

Re: Windows Mobile
LOL... all devices are prone to virus attack. Just because something is Open Source doesnt mean its more prone. For years windows have been the go for attackers rather than targetting other open source OS s like linux.
So, open source - virus prone... is a pure hoax. Dont fall for it.
WM 6.5 stands no where near Android IMO. WM7.x has an UI which i feel can rival or even beat Android devices. Its got a bright future if u ask me. And i guess all WM7 devices would recieve updates from Microsoft directly, so it wont be dependent on the manufacturer, which is very good. Android, being open source and full of different customizations, makes it impossible for Google to directly update the OS OTA. We have to wait for the Manufacturers to make a ROM for their phones... which sucks really.

pick arc over neo. I have a feeling that neo might not get all future updates that arc or play gets.
