I guess Blackberry guys use Whatsapp to communicate with their non-BB friends.

There is "bedside mode" on the Blackberry. Once put in Bedside mode, the clock actually does act like a type of screensaver, dimming the screen brightness, but staying on the screen. So, yes, that's the way to have the clock as a screensaver

wow ..... i need 2 download BB desktop manager, didnt get inthe cd provided. my phone has os5 so which 1 should i download 5 or 5.01 or 6 ?

Ideally the DTM should be compatible with the OS version. So get 5.

Using blackberry 9780 with Vodafone. Quite surprising that blackberry doesn't provide video calling like others..

DTS is free bt it doesnt show or send sms . any software to do that ?

for eg>> am @ desk & my bb is conected 2 my pc, 1 sms comes i view on pc . if i wanna reply, i type text & press send .

used 2 do with my nokia phone using oxygen phone manager. wanna exp similar thing. any software ?

I have recently bought BlackBerry Curve 8520. Can i use Normal GPRS(GPRS Pack Rs.98/- for 2GB) on BB8520 or i need to subscribe to BlackBerry Services.

@ swiftlover :well as far I know you can access Internet through GPRS (in blackberry language that will be edge) in blackberry as in normal phones but there will be certain limitations( many softwares will not work unless BIS is activated) and of course the use of blackberry is coz of the excellent email service and BBM also application world.

@ asingh: recently i ported to tatadocomo and it took around 20 hours to activate BIS but during that period i could access mail and facebook and normal browsing through blackberry browser ( which i thought was not possible !) without any problems.
