Video codec for And2.2?

Hello,

Is there any app that installs all Video Codecs for Android2.2?

I had downloaded few video files thruogh "Youtube Mate" and all were in MP4 format. some files are playable and some are not..

ex: the one which i tried is "Unbelievable David Backham" and few Coldplay and Kesha Video songs.

i dont know why. I tried few top-rated Players such as "Mobo". its not working..


any solutions?

App that install all video codecs or supports/runs all video codecs???
And that kind of problem never occurred to me. Are you sure you downloaded those videos properly/completely??? Or try different YouTube Video Downloader!!!

first of all. download a video of low resolution. hd video 1380or flv videos put resolution greater than 320x240

Is there any way to install extra codecs in a phone other than the ones natively supported? Logically thinking, there should be, cause in many cases, on the same hardware, one phone can play (for eg.)mkv files, while another one cannot.

that will need to be done in the firmware. also phone cpu is not as fast as computer cpu.
I haven't yet seen a phone that plays mkv video natively on a 600mhz cpu.
