Wink HSDPA querry


Hello i just have one querry and that is does hsdpa really drives mobile internet speeds to 6-7 mbps

That depends on the provider, distance from tower, number of user connected to that tower.

well i wouldn't say you will get 6-7 but certainly 2 or sometimes 3.. i have used 3g networks in UK and USA and i got constant speed of atleast 2.5-3.5 and when i was on 4g sprint i got upto 8.. so i wouldn't say ul get 6-7 but certainly 1.5 on avg which is quite decent..

I have heard that bsnl 3g gives download speed of 500kbps in some areas...thats like 4mbps above

Yes.
Mostly the average of BSNL is around 150-200kBps.
Some even get 2mBps+ but only in rare bursts.
