Samsung Galaxy mini packs much better hardware and software too
and it is a real VFM too
but
my point is the low Resolution of the samsung galaxy's screen
i don't think the OP's experience of android would be good on that miserly res
also not to mention that Android phones generally consume much more power than normal
I have seen high end android phones with all the bells and whistles struggling with battery life(1&1/2 days at full charge)
Whereas similarly specced nokia ones with symbian are good for 4 days at average
About the capacitive vs resistive
i cant really put my opinion here
as i haven't used capacitive touch phones
About the cam
yes you are right about 3.2 meg autofocus being much better than 5 meg fixed
But call this my perception or viewpoint, i feel nokia cam's picture quality to be better than the samsung counterparts
p.s.
i am not a nokia fanboy
i already own 2 samsung phones

and i am not at all happy with them
