i am looking for a mobile to gift my sister @ his birthday...
Phone should have a good battery life, music,good camera and other features...
Brand would be nokia,lg,samsung or sony ericsson...

5Mp cam with flash,,, same flash can be used as torch,, java apps, wireless radio (radio without earphone), dedicated music keys,, 3G data only,,,

If you could remove that Camera requirement from that list, go for Samsung Champ GT-C3303K. It has an excellent touchscreen with great music quality. The music player is excellent & the phone overall doesn't look cheap. Its stated battery life is 28 days. Grab one for less than 4k.

For camera, the X2-00 has the best camera in the price range. However, don't get blinded by 5mp in specs as the camera quality is nowhere near the other (high-end) 5mp camera phones. Also its keypad is a nightmare for heavy-texters.

If you want a smartphone, you can get a Nokia 5233 for about 6k.
