Arrow upgrade to 2.3


can i upgrade my milestone to android 2.3 or should i wait still ?

^^ currently, other than Nexus series, no other phone have a working, bugfree Gingerbread. HTC OR Samsung Galasy S. all are having problem handling Gingerbread. so even if you wish, you can't have Gingerbread. forget day to day usage, testing is also not possible cause AFAIK, none has (no XDA) ported gingerbread to Milestone yet. so keep patience. till than try some Cyanogen Mod.

even cyanogen mod for milestone is only for froyo. The AOSP ROM for 2.3 is buggy and there is not official word that milestone will get 2.3 yet.

^^ yup. need a stable release or rom to make a modded rom out of it.

but Cryogen far better than stock gingerbread. only in the power consumption or better memory optimization (can't recall what that was exactly), gingerbread have the upper hand.

some 2.3 custom roms can be expected after Nexus One gets the update as it'll be OTA.
