LG GW620 Android Phone

i am getting second hand LG GW620 android phone for Rs7000..
I want to know the advantages & disadvantages of this phone over other phones in this range..
& can i update to froyo or any other way to update it..
Is the price perfect for this phone
should i go for the deal..

1. physical qwerty keypad
2. 5MP camera with LED flash

Cons
1. Resistive touchscreen
2. Stuck on android 1.5 (cupcake)
3. Production closed by LG
4. Interface sucks

Chances of upgradation to froyo are very minute.

Overall i think its an outdated phone and dont buy it.

i'll suggest, first search in net if it can be rooted & upgraded to Froyo. and then decide if you want to buy. without froyo, drop it. also it doesn't look good at all.

Performance and availability of applications.
phone with froyo will operate much smoother than phone with cupcake (both having same specs)

Qwerty keypad will be an added advantage to me..
Does lg gw620 can compete optimus one/galaxy 3/spica i5700..
& does price 7000 satisfactory or i should bargain..

Physical QWERTY is always a plus
But the problem is - it is hard to find in mid range android phones

No. All three of them are better (capacitive and big screen, better hardware and android 2.1 eclairs).
GW620 excels only in physical qwerty part.

& does price 7000 satisfactory or i should bargain..

IMO just ignore this offer and search for a second hand galaxy 3 or spica (optimus one is pretty new in market, so shud be difficult to find).
Both of these are much better.

If you still want to buy gw620, then bargain as much as you can. I think 7000 is little too much for a phone which is not manufactured now a days.
