Default Mobile phone in the range of 30K

I want to buy a new mobile phone next month and I can stretch upto Rs 30k. Could you guys please suggest some good phones? I want the following features:

Touchscreen and great touch experience
Full 3G support
Big Display for watching movies
Great music playback capabilities and music quality
Secondary camera for video calling (A must)
Slim design and should be very light to carry in the pocket
Sliding keypad not required
Internet browsing and social networking like facebook and twitter

I have narrowed down my choice to Samsung Galaxy S 16GB, but I'm not sure if it's the right time to buy it. What do you guys suggest? Are there any other phones that I should consider?

Galaxy S is your only choice given your requirements

lol I had a good laugh when I read kalpik saying GS "only" choice .....

@abhi, yea i agree android is the way to go these days, but who knows you would want Symbian ...... anyway, GS is not your "only" choice ...lol ....... Nokia N8 is also there and not to forget my fav HTC Desire. You can check out the following thread that discusses HTC Desire in detail with some worth comparision with GS ....

http://www.thinkdigit.com/forum/mobi...re-thread.html

it starts off with my simple query but ends up with some serious discuession over the phone and its comparison.......

^^^ lol does your desire has secondary camera (a must have feature)???

And a lot of bugs have been reported about n8. So its currently not a good choice...
The count of (good)mobiles decreases when secondary camera is a mandatory option...

Nope ..... but does it make it a non recommendable option, I think not.... ..... let the person "read" and reconsider the options .....

I too vote for Galaxy S unless the OP is okay to wait and get Nexus S from USA.

Hey thanks guys for your suggestions. Your inputs have made me go with Galaxy S.

Just one question. In the discussion between Desire and Galaxy S, users were saying that the GS lags a lot. Has this been fixed with Froyo??

yes. it is reported to be fixed but you can root the phone and apply lagfix rightaway. check the SGS thread for the info.
