There must be a way because i had once taken my phone to samsung service center once due to phonebook problem and there they showed my whole phonebook on the PC.

Forget it.
Such s/w that we see on service centres, r available only there, not available on net or in markets.
As I know, till today no s/w available for this phone to backup phonebook or other things...

I had found a PC Link software at the samsung site for my model but it didn't worked
