Fully loaded phone under 8k

hi guys,
my e71's keypad has gone a bit awry so am deciding to exchange it for a new phone under a budget of 8k (maximum including concession by exchanging the e71). please suggest a full feature packed phone(stylish, preferably captive touch screen, WI-FI must be there, an ebook reader-optional it must be rugged and it should be java enabled).

at that price get Samsung i5500 Galaxy 5

Although it have a poor screen but its loaded with all features

Sorry no good android phone at that budget. If possible get Samsung Galaxy 3 which is 4k over budget.

but remember samsung galaxy 3 also have poor resolution screen...soo its not for u

u can have SE X8 when it get 2.1 for 13k

or else get nokia 5230 which have good resolution screen but no wifi for 7-8k

Dude get yourself the new Zeus by Videocon which is fully loaded with power packed features.. 5MP Cam, 3G, Wifi, Bluetooth, A-GPS and last but not the least its an Android[600 Mhz proc] phone and comes with v1.6 upgradeable to 2.1 Eclair...
Oh yeah its available at the price tag of Rs 10999
n forgot videocon is throwing away an 8GB card free with it too..

only the other phone with capacitive screen in ur budget is Samsung Monte

But again its resolution is not good enough...

either drop capacitive screen or higher resolution...u wont get both under 10k

@v4u_luv2004, one should remember mobile is good. but will Videocon provide timely update for the Android as it is released? cause i heard numerous cases of SE not receiving any official update. so if Videocon takes same route, the 11k price tag may have very less appeal for the demanding crowd.

Absolutely agreed sam.shab. Indian companies selling Chinese android are not trustworthy. Galaxy 3's screen is very passable. Non android phone should be 5230.I am a owner of it and assure you except sound you wont be disappointed.

well obviously Videocon as a mobile brand is total nonsense cos at the end of d day they r one more chinese brand in d list of never ending mobile brand segment... but still m happy that atleast they r takin sum initiative to b different by introducin such fones as Zeus.. N wen it comes to Android fones none can beat HTC & Samsung...
He shud increase his budget to get a gud android fone...
My pick is Samsung Spicia and HTC Wildfire and both available under 15k

Well buddy i would say go ahead and buy a Nokia C5(Rs7.5k) for urself..
Its a gem.. Got 3g, GPS and also its a s60 device with a 600 MHz processor...
Then thrs Nokia 5230 or 5235 also to look for...

look bro I will make it simple

1.U want an android with capacitive screen then Samsung Galaxy 5 but it have poor screen & it have wifi
2. No other android phone worthwile/available under 10k
3. If u can adjust with hi-res Resistive screen then Nokia 5235 is good enough at that price but none of Nokia 5230,5235 or 5233 have WIFI only 3g

@pranav - Its simple buddy!With ur budget of 8k u can't hv ur cake n eat it too!!Within 8k the best multimedia phone u can get is Nokia 5230/5235 coz these hv damn good resolution of 360x640,so when u watch videos on these phones the experience is amazing!!Of course u gotta bargain for sound quality but that shouldn't be a prob if u get in ear-phones of Sennheisser or Creative!!

Well buddy certainly Nokia C5 is a superb phone and has got a very powerful processor but the price is not 6k its 7.5k.. The only feature it lags is a WiFi other than that its a gr8 fone.
