How to Download a DVD Movie into a Mobile Phone !

Hi Guys,

I want to install a Movie from a original DVD. Can anyone please tell me a way to how to do it. The DVD does not have a ready to play format like MPEG,MP4 so it is not as easy as one can imagine like Drag it from the DVD and install it in the phone. No it is not that simple.

Any help, suggestions on how to do it would be greatly appreciated.

Y dont u just convert it into mp4 format....

By dvd u r talking about vob file i suppose....it wont play on any mobiles i think

copy the vob file, convert it to mp4 in the resolution supported by your phone using softwares like FormatFactory etc. If your phone doesn't support mp4 format then convert it to 3gp. It is supported on most phones.

But how do I create that VOB file into Mp4 format?

as somebody said download formatfactory from internet and convert the vob file into mp4

I am trying to help my brother with this The phone is Samsung Galaxy S. I have a Video_ts folder already created can this be directly converted in to MP4?

yes the video_ts folder may contain a .vob file..the dvd video file

Just convert it into mp4 using any video converter and it would play on samsung galaxy s
