Help For Cingular Phone

Hello Friends,
My brother recently brought a Cingular 2125 Mobile Phone from America. It is an old 2006 Model. Although the phone is quite old, but it is not working in India. When I try to insert the SIM Card, it says that the phone is locked and asking for the code. Any ideas for what the code is or where I can get Such unlock code or technical assistance? Is there any Cingular Office in India? Please Help.
