Futurebazaar.com & ebay.in are selling this phone for around 26k. Is it worth buying?

A better deal would be HTC Desire with a Ghz processor and 576mb ram for 26,990 at ebay

HDMI out (they even provide the cable fgs) and Xenon flash is an advantage in xt720. But you can always live without it.

Ram is quite low on this phone.. Also CPU is slower

But yeah, If you're after the cam, sure, go ahead

BTW, Is it safe to buy those "Factory Unlocked" iphone 3gs from ebay.in? I heard that these phones can't be upgraded to os4, is it true?

You heard it wrong. If you're going with the iphones, its best to buy the factory unlocked ones (though expensive). They can be upgraded to any later compatible iOS.

But again:

3GS Factory Unlocked 16GB: 31 to 35k
HTC Desire (Much more powerful): 27k
