Today when I was Coming to My office i heard the News On radio (93.5) That Today is Nokia 15th anneversay In India and Both radio sation in collabration with Nokia were ditributing the Nokia ccesories and Phone as Gift to person who give them Gr8 Nokia Momnents

But I seach Google abt this News I can't Find That.

is Today Nokia's 15 anneversay In India?

I too got a tweet from Nokia India that it has been 15 years now..

Right now Nokia is down but untill 1-2 years back it had the highest number of fanboyzz in India

Nokia still is the most reliable for battery life and call quality..

They have highest number of service centers around India...
And we get cheap spare parts easily too

What the Maruti is for four-wheelers that is what Nokia is for Mobiles in India.

am not getting a few this
the 5800 & n97 have the same specs(am leaving out the cam & qwerty)
so why such a price gap

& wht a real mrkt price for the phone going by the processor & ram speed of the n97
bcz the Wave has double the specs @17.5k

+qwerty keypad 2k
+better build quality 1.5k
+a 5mp cam 1k

That comes to 18k Look I am no nokia expert..just estimating

I hope n97 is worth 18k....but its finished now...Now C6 with poorer build quality and same specs is comming soon for 15-16k


For wave I can say it got benefit from samsung's own screen, own proccesor(samsung is partner in ARM), maybe own cam module, own RAM chip and lastly own OS

Please correct me if I am wrong somewhere..as I am not much techie

Hey Buddy....

I dont at all recomend u to Get Nokia N97 Because not only the Ui is slow but it is a Truly Buggy Phone.
My Friend has Nokia N97 mini , Buyied in 19k
He is facing problem in each and every apps.

He cant sell it also as Nobody want to Buy it... LOLZ

If u want Gr8 UI and Touch screeen at its best Like Apple Iphone then go for HTC phone with HTC sence

HTC sence !!! It rocks , you will never has any lag in ur touch and resonce of phone

But down side of it is it is costiler and Hardware like camera, speaker are Weak

Where as In nokia X6 Audio Is awesome.(xpress music) and specs of x6 and n97 mini is More over same u can check

The UI Of X6 is far better than of N97 , becoz of Capacitive touch screen.

I Check Nokia x6 in my hand, it was OK OK. Lags Are there But better than N97

if U want a good Phone don't go for N97 at all

Buy Nokia X6 - Music Phone + good cam + dual flash + cap touch screen

Buy Wave : Awesome AMOLED screen + good cam + Av also Good (xvid support) +1GHZ procc

Also to Note that as Procc speed More: apps work faster , Ui (touchscreen) is faster + apps Swich fater + can see Xvid and divx Video smooth...

I think if u want to focus on hardware --> Samsung wave
If u want gr8 Softwar --> HTC legend --> Android.... n HTC sence ..
