BSNL 3G settings for HTC HERO

hi,

i need bsnl 3g settings for htc hero (unlocked bought from U.S.A).

couldnt find the settings.i entered some settings from net but didnt work.

and also i couldnt access android market.is it available in india.
or should i use android phones bought in india only.

note: i can access internet using 2g settings and not android market.with bsnl 3g i could access net with nokia phones but not with htc hero.

kindly help me in this regard.

What is your location? APN settings mentioned in respective BSNL state sites work perfectly (I can say atleast for AP and Karnataka)....

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited

Select the corresponding site belonging to state you reside in....follow the steps to download the settings.

it should be available dude...it doesn't depend on geography i guess....are you able to browse internet?

couldnt find the settings.i entered some settings from net but didnt work.

note:- installed all updates by
sudo apt-get update

just added "bsnlnet" in the apn settings .

The configuration for BSNL EDGE, 3G and GPRS is the same thing. Find the network settings and change the APN as bsnlnet.
