Send Free SMS Using GPRS

Hi Guys, I have searched for the same topic in this forum but found link to mig33 only. Which is actually not free to use.

I have been using Mobile Rediff for over a year now and it helps me sending unlimited sms to any Indian mobile number free of cost (offcourse you have to pay up for the gprs charges). This app was launched way back in Nov 2008.

I know most of you already may have used this or using it, but for those who do not know about it, please download the application from:

A quick tour link is also given there which will guide you how to use the features.

I would like to know if there are any other applications like this because I really want to use it. MobileRediff can only send sms to Indian numbers that too, to one number only at a time. 160by2 also provides such application but advertisements in that irritates me.

Way2SMS is also a good service, but does it has a mobile application?

You can use fullonsms.com to send full 160 characters sms to any mobile number in India. No ads ever.
From way2sms i had got an email stating that they may be starting free international sms soon

dude try bsnl 3g...for 13 rs there is 1ps/sms offer in my region...2000/3000 sms for 23/33 rs...its national and local any n/w

DUDE....you are my savior...which plan are you using? I have BSNL 3G connection and I am on Postpaid Plan 99 the simplest of them all. Plus subscribed to Data Plan 249 (recently changed it from 549). I live in Bangalore BTW...like most of us I am heavily addicted to SMSes....


Edit: I contacted customer care here, they said there is no such offer

i am on bsnl-3g prepaid plan...its called GENERAL 120..after recharging with 98 it became Promotion plan
