N900 firmware update india

Guys,
ive got my n900 from Uk from a frnd of mine, though havent got hands on it...will be in my hands in 4-5 days time.
wat i wud like to knw is since it is not launched in india so thre wudnt be any India-specific firmware updates available i knw, but wud i be able to update it?
because anyways uk will receive firmware updates...and if connect my phone to nokia software updater, it ll take the product code and will show the updates...isnt it?

or wud i not be able to update it here???

obviously u will get updates .. when u enter ur product code it will give u uk updates only as phone is from that region it does not matter where u r currently.

hehe...bt yes...i really am very particular about regularly updating my phone..and also i cant imagine not updating my firmware while the rest of the world does and discusses its pros and cons!
