Go with Panasonic LZ10 ~ 6.2k on ebay after 500/- off coupon o else 6.7k..best in your budget.. check review on net. it has wide lances, HD format video recording, 5x optical zoom etc etc..

In this price range I always recommend the Panasonic FS series. Get any of them except the FS4.

but somehow i am reluctant to buy it from ebay(never purchased from ebay)
Its not available in JJMehta.Any other reliable online place where i can buy it?

if i increase my budget by 1k is how is A1100 compared to LZ10 and A480

If I was given the choice between those two, I would still pick up LZ10, since its cheaper and has video recording at 848 x 640 pixels, and manual controls too.. though many people have bought from ebay, just look for Power sellers or good reputation ones, and check the warranty condition too..it should be manufacture warranty. always pay through PaisaPay, check everything including bills etc when you receive the item.

i purchased LZ 10 from ebya for 6888/- cam+ 2gb card ,pouch,battery and all accessories I selected 8gb pen drive from ebay,which i hope will receive soon

Picture quality is really nice,so far i use only auto mode.But frankly i was expecting something more from 10mp dedicated camera after using 3mp SE K790.Maybe thats because k790 has very good cam.

Guys tell me what is practical advantage of wide angle lens ?
