hi can u please Help me choosing the best music phone under 5.5k.
i am From Kolkata.
Camera Quality is not an issue,only Music Quality.

also Good Speaker [volume While Playing Ringtone] would be a bonus.

I would suggest you to buy any sony ericcson walkman series.they are the best.i am using it.the clarity is excellent and sound effect is marvellous.

I am from siliguri but even i was quoted 5760 by themobilestore ~15 days ago(bought @5725 elsewhere). I think You paid a little more.

Dunno maybe My Bad Luck.also happened when i bought my Canon Powershot a590IS  any idea if the nokia prices have really became a bit high or what else do u think may the cause???

+1 for philips , they produce much more clear sound than others in this range . Sony's have little more 'bass' but since 5130 already produce plenty good music , and considering you dont use effects , i dont think you'll need more bass .
Btw , mediahome.in is selling soundmagic pl30 for around 1k , they got rave reviews , check em out. (Although i never personally never heard them ) .

With amp it goes above my Budget...Really Cant afford 2 Shell out 1.2K rather than 1K

I dont like s40 phones so i keep away from them and also they dont serve my purpose, i went to get my frnd a new phone recently so enquired abt 5130's price which was 5.4k @ nokia priority dealer , as mobile store aint giving anything extra for 5.9 then whats the use of buying it frm thr??

5130 is S40 5th edition . S40 is NOT symbian .
Anyway , dony worry , you still have enough java apps and games to explore . Also try few good themes at mobile9.com and zedge.com
