Default dual gsm sim mobile

hello guys, I am in urgent need of a dual GSM SIM mobile phone. There are few makers out there, the branded one from samsung (D880) is out there but its' review is not encouraging. The next option is spice D90 (Rs.8000/-), review appears good but no vendor displays anything more than the packaged box. Spice D1100 is a PDA, hence out of budget. LG KS660 is also a dual sim but I have bad experience with LG batteries. I am not sure about the British Fly models.

I also read that some Indian guy holds the patent for dual sim and hence the court has barred major companies (Samsung, LG, Spice) from selling such models in India, I am not aware of its current status.

A review of top 5 dual sim mobile models are given here.

There are a few chinese sets out there, but then Chinese sets are never known for their durability and quality. But, do I have any choices? I came across this nice looking mobile from VCALL, it is v818. It is not so heavy, can support 1 GB micro SD, has touch screen, has a camera (pixel not mentioned), has bluetooth, GPRS, plays mp3 & mp4 files, is a slider phone. It even has a IMEI number, that's a good point. It costs Rs.4500/- I am not sure of the accessories provided.

I am tempted to buy VCALL V818 because I don't have many choices, but I want you guys to advice me on this. And yes, any other available model, based on YOUR OWN experience?

Vcall v818 a good looking mobile with decent specification from CHINA. I need opinion on that. This model has dual sim in standby mode, whereas Vcall 888 has Dual SIM both On-line.

Motorola has dual sim models VE75 and MING A1800 but I think neither of them are available in India. See their specifications, they appear good. Any idea on these models?

Mobile from Karbonn (K451) appear lackluster and with fewer features that one might expect these days. What say?

And what about this one from Samsung, SGH-D880? Is it legally available and how does it perform? I have not heard great reviews about it. Another one from Samsung, D780 suits all my requirements, but is it available?

Updated on 04-June-2009: I finally settled for samsung C5212, which is not a great phone but serves my purpose for the given cost.
