Note if you click on the images hosted on the imageshack site, then after the image has fully loaded click on it. Otherwise you will be viewing a reduced image in size for the sake of properly fitting in your computer screen.
The direct links are provided above.
The aim here is to view these images in their full glory
An example
N82..........................ZN5

Clearly we can see that in FULL RESOLUTION,
N82's image quality is better than ZN5 in most cases ,
and ZN5's color reproduction better than N82 in most cases.
Now the question arises, which is better to have,
Better Image quality or Better Color reproduction......hmmm.......hmmm..........lol
No need to be an einstein to figure that out

, much more useful to have better image quality than color reproduction.
Take for example if you feel the snap you have taken is not vibrant enough, just open it in Photoshop or any decent image editor and just click Auto Color, and voila its fixed. And you can further experiment to your liking.
Unfortunately its not the same case with Image quality (For files using lossy compression). Once its lost it can never come back.
Try converting an qvga (240x320) jpg image to 1080p and you will understand what i am trying to say here.
And further more that review was taken on 23 June 2008, it now nearly year later. The firmware used in the N82 at that time was an old one. Now the new v31 is available which has better image quality, exposure etc. and further goodies like better music quality, battery life etc. than the old one.
Now comes the price, the N82 is around 18k and ZN5 around 13-14k. Why is there a substantial difference in price when both sport an 5mp camera ???
Now now its not like Motorola is suddenly feeling very generous, ZN5 is priced less because it lacks many features like 3G, an os like symbian or winmo with great number of apps, video resolution is a pathetic 176x144 @15fps compared to N82's 640x480 @30fps, etc.
Clearly both of them are priced appropriately, you pay more you get more
Motorola has pulled out off India, so think twice even thrice before buying an Motorola phone.
There are advantages of having an Nokia or SE phone

Lol its comments like these that sidetrack the simple minded
If all your going to do is view pictures on the phone’s display having an normal resolution of 240x320, then even an Vga cam is more than enough. An 5mp with an 2592x1944 resolution would be an overkill
