want to read text messages on the pc without attaching the phone to it

how do i copy all text messages from nokia 5310 to my pc. as there are more than 1000 msgs which are of value to me.

and how can i move the messages from my inbox to memory card in the phone help.

i use pc suite but it just backs up the content and I want to read them after i disconnect the phone from pc too.please help

in your phone, u can change the Memory setting of Messages such that it gets stored in Memory card instead of phone memory.

also when u connect to PC suite u should be to access phone memory too rite.!! and pc suite has a default reader to read messages, which i have used to read messages from N71.
try installing a latest version of PC suite.

Hey buddy, why do you want to stuff the messages into your memory card?
This would slow your mobile very much.
The better way would be to store your messages onto your computer.
Store them in one folder using the copy paste in PC suite. This is what i do, and i have around 4000 messages of mine in a folder.

In the PC suite, there is an option to eprt messages as a CSV file!
