Talking Re: virgin mobile

searched around and this is what i found
1.virgin mobile is actually rebranded tata indicom uses tata network
2.but has better tariff plans which are simple without any headache
3.local call 1st 3min charged at 1rs. then at 50p whole day(any mobile/landline)
4.std call 1st 3min 1.5rs then 50p but only for 30mins then normal rates at 1.5rs(any mobile/landline)
5.sms are at same rate as others local 1rs,national 1.5rs
6.no need for any special voucher or any validity headache for this tariff
7.when you buy new connection from themobile store outlet you get
phone+lifetime validity with above tariff plan+499 local min+499 local sms
8.also check online store for more gifts in addition to what you get from mobile store
9.now is the best part you receive 10p/min for incoming from any mobile
10.has some cool packs too like yoyo and thank god its a weekend recharge.

http://www.virginmobile.in/

as far as i know none of the operators give this 50p tariff for std even if it is for 30mins(maybe with addon packs)
this the best tariff i have seen so far, network is also good at my place dont know about other areas.

Go ahead Puneet...Virgin network is the best in class..Though it uses the Tata network which is a bit shaky but Virgin has no such problems..I guess they have dedicated separate Bandwidth for Virgin..Call rates are good especially considering no addon pack is required..

it is ok never mind.anyways..

can anyone tell me that calling from up east to up west is considered as local call or STD call?

i know about airtel which considers up as one and does not charge any roaming or std from upeast to up west.is this also applicable for other operators or only limited to airtel?
