Err.. there is no such as a "Haptic" UI. That's just a feature.

Best touch UI for interaction: iPhone OS>Windows Mobile with TouchFlo/XPanels>S60 5th edition>UIQ>Android>BB Touch>Windows Mobile without TouchFlo/XPanels

Touch UI with the best feature set: Windows Mobile>Android>(S60 5th edition, UIQ, iPhone OS)>BB Touch

for touch UI, I would say Apple's UI for iPhone.

Next would be the blackberry UI.

Pretty darn good, considering that it's Nokia's first S60v5 phone. There are a few glaring problems and some bits of the UI aren't gelled together like say, UIQ in the P1i or the iPhone OS, but overall it's a damn good phone. The camera is crap but the speakers are loud enough to play at a real party.

Symbian UIQ ROCKS!!
Alas its nw dead.

Go for SE P1 or G700(UIQ)
OR
XPERIAAAAA!(WinMo).

I would not recommend w960 or g900 as they hav some problems.

PQ is average, say 6/10 and worse than a K800. For other problems, check out my posts in the 5800 discussion thread.

I have used SE,O2,HTC diamond and touch,Asus,Iphone 3G and old nokia touch screens and only one thing... Iphone user interface/touch screen rocks and am waiting to have a hand in Xperia, 5800 and n97 and see if they can compete!
The glass screen simple superb!

NB: I used to be by heart nokia fan boy and now turned to be an Iphone fan!

UI? or touchscreen input? iPhone wins hands down in both of them.

UI of WiMo is also good, depends on what you require. A person like me would find WiMo more comprehensive in terms of UI. But yeah, input sucks in WiMo devices compared to iPhone/iPod Touch.

Think about it, I bought an iPod Touch for the sole reason that it ran iPhone OS and had the same hardware sans the phone feature.
