For Rs. 4839/- including taxes with 6 months warranty. I saw several other phones in the so-called "smart"phones section:

Hmmm..BlackBerry 7290 is one of the first BB Smartphones ... outdated technology now a days ... u can say it as Nokia 3310 in the BB Series ..

Isn't there a decent but CHEAP QWERTY phone around ? I am sick of SMSing and Browsing with these stupid dumb keys which need a handful of jabs to display just one character.

BBThumbHealer is right. The BB 7290 is a phone from the dinosaur era. You really don't want to pull that out of your pocket in front of your mates.

Any bluetooth keyboard should work with a BT2.0 equipped Nokia phone. Check out the Nokia SU-8W keyboard.
