Budget Phone - Your advice needed.

Hii friends.

I need to get a phone for my dad. Solely for making and receiving calls. Battery life, looks and build quality would be surely welcome.

My dad thought of Nokia 2600 as he's a nokia fan. I recommended him some low end motorola phone.

My budget is around 3 - 3.5k .

I need to get the cell tomorrow morning.
What do you guys suggest?

se phones generally give battery problems after some time of usage.

thats why I am not very keen on buying them.
