I'm currently using Nokia 6233 and am pissed off with its Music Player.

I want a better music player which is faster and better than the native Music player. I have a 1gb card in it with 400mb of songs and around 15 apps+games.

Whenever i refresh the library it gets hang and i have to remove the battery.

try KD player,search for it in google.it is absolutely awsome,shows album arts,has visualizations.can be hugely skinned .and works like a charm in sony ericsson java phones,must work with nokia s40(6233) devices also

If kd player didnt work for u, then nothing will do.

Your solution is to update the phones firmware , if the phone is still in the warranty then take to any nokia service centre and they would update it for free , just tell them what is your problem .

How is KD BTW? Does it have good equaliser options? I'm pretty content with the default Music Player & haven't faced a single issue so far.

i have 6233 and it has got great music quality. maybe u can try update firmware.
