SE K790 - How's it?

I am planning to buy SonyErisccon K790

Anyone here used it? How's it? Any other phone in the similar budget (10k - 11k) that is better than this?

I am ready for Nokia and SonyEricsson

K790 is a good phone.... Go ahead and buy it if you like it

You can also look at Nokia 5230, almost the same specs...

And now it is sub 10k I believe. Solid performance and good battery time. Wonderful camera/ feature. My elder brother is using it for more than 14 months and it is still great. Nice to handle, text, call, capture. Video is a bit let down thou. Otherwise a great phone. Oh I forgot, also nice audio player. A good package for 9.6k @ www.univercell.in

It is a gr8 phone....U can buy it..

However, if u want Symbian, than go for the Nokia N73/N73 ME

hmn.... guys whats the sony model bond used in the quantam of solace? I saw he was using some latest model of SE but couldnt get which one any ideas?

Great phone , using it for just over 1 year now. In its current price range u wont get anything better than this. My short review :

pros :

1. Great camera with really powerful flash(A Cyber-shot afterall , better than the K810i)
2. Good battery back-up(This should be an important factor). Lasts for a couple of days with 2 hours of call and 1.5 hrs of music. I dont game at all.
3. Great feature set.
4. Fast , can handle 2GB cards with ease.
5. Must not forget the music player.

cons :

1. A lil fat , if u are into slim mobiles , this is not the 1 for you.
2. Call volume is low , if u are talking at a crowded place , u will hardly hear anything.
3. Keys will stop working in months( Time to visit service centre )
4. No 3G.

Wow. Its almost a unanimous decision in favour of K790. Thanks so much to all.

I will be buying this today or max tomorrow. Have to gift it to my wife on our anniversary which is on Sunday
