error in installing .jar file

While i was installing the "Lyrics Player (240x320)-139624.jar" in My nokia 5300 faced this error:
"This application cannot be installed in the phone. The file size is too big"
What is the problem here?
file size is 1 MB.
My mobiles C: drive memory is 3 MB free(main).
E: drive memory is 100 MB free(Memory card).

Check for another installer... Possibly wit a small resolution. ..

Max. jar file size for 5300 is 1MB, are you sure that the jar file is not bigger than 1MB i.e. not larger by even 1 KB

Hey the answer to your question is in the error itself.. The file is too large..

^^ yes, perhaps you are saying right.
the actual size of file is 1.7 MB.
Is there any method available to reduce the size .jar files?

No. .afaik u can't reduce a jar file size...
