Default laptop purchase


hi guys
i want to buy a laptop with the following configuration can u please help me and give any suggestions which company and model of a laptop i should go for.
and is it the right time to buy a laptop or i should wait for windows vista to come or for any other reason
p-m 1.7
512 mb ddr2 533 mhz ram
80 gb hdd
15.4" display
dvd rw

Toshiba and Dell are good options if you want reliable stuff.

I mnt sure of the after-sale service of DELL.
Hence i recommend IBM ( LENOVO ) if budget isnt any probs then u cn go for which u wnt. ELse look for ----LENOVO ThinkPad R51.( Costs around 50k)
Also quality of DELL is gr8 but i liv. in city like Ngp. Hence i warn u about its the after-sales service .

I mnt 100% sure but i think that going for Acer Ferrari will be a better option.
