Default Help With Memory Stick - Compaq Presario V2000 Laptop

I have a COMPAQ PRESARIO V2000 Notebook PC which comes with a 6 in 1 built-in Card Reader. And I have a SONY MEMORY STICK DUO (MagicGate) of 128 MB capacity, which I bought for use with SONY DCR HC42 HandyCam. I would like to know if the card reader in my laptop is compatible with the memory stick.

The card reader supports SD, MS/Pro, MMC, SM, XD Cards - it says in the manual of the laptop.

Thanks.
