After online research for about 2 month finally i've decided to buy
this

So i need advice from you people, Local dealer in mangalore offered me this at 42k with some 1k accessories.

Shall i proceed or wait till ASUS launches IVY BRIDGE models??
and is there any downside in my decision going with ASUS??

If you have any other model in same category(40-45K) do let me know
i Prefer ASUS and HP. a bigggg no to DELL and LENOVO

that laptop is not at all worth 42k. If you are open to online buying, email SMCInternational if they still have this laptop at stock. You should be able to buy it for 38k minus accessories.

visit Dell's site and configure Dell 15R. Should be 42.5k + carry change of 1k. worth to go for that as the GPU is better and the processor is 3rd gen i5.

Even I suggest you to opt for Inspiron with IVB processor.

But you said the opposite thing here....

nope. GT630 is better than HD7670 by around 10% or more. The HP is for budget gaming.
