2gb ddr3
500gb hdd
15.6" screen

I am more inclined to dell due to their support but i saw elsewhere that the components in dell at this range are of poor quality and will breakdown frequently. I want to run nfs games like mostwanted, carbon, prostreet like's. So does intelhd3000 is sufficent for it?
If not how about the lenovo support in delhi. How good is the quality?
I have heard that hp is the worst quality? how is its 630 series?
Please reply fast!Last edited by qqwen; 19-04-2012 at 06:12 PM.

Re: Help with selecting a laptop
First of all thankyou for such quick response. I have checked the asus model but it does'nt have a dedicated graphics.
Can you answer the following questions please!
1.How good are the lenovo service in NEWDELHI?
2. The Nvidia geforce 525m is it good enough to play medium range games and some Cad Programs?(I usually like racing games insted of games like "call of duty")
3.the intel hd3000,does it suits my needs?
4.How is the build quality of lenovo laptops?

2. yes.
3. not for gaming.
4. used to be top notch. nowadays its same as any other laptop. don't confuse thinkpads with regular lenovos. its like comparing tank with a SUV.

Re: Help with selecting a laptop
Since you are a bit into games, here's a slightly better deal. Forgoing the i5 but getting an improved GPU.

Re: Help with selecting a laptop
I am not sure of their service in delhi, but what i do know is that the laptops are well built and pretty reliable... In fact i have generally found that the build usually puts price comparable laptops to shame.
A couple of our buddies here had some display issues in their models, but afaik they were a different series. So no probs as i see it.HP Pavillion dv4 3016tx | i5 2.33GHz | ATI HD6750M 1GB | 4GB RAM | 500GB HDD

Re: Help with selecting a laptop
Your welcome, I think you don't need a graphic card.
It is okCan you answer the following questions please!
1.How good are the lenovo service in NEWDELHI?
You can play NFS MW, Carbon on Intel 3000 without any lag, so as you are not into hardcore gaming, for basic games Intel 3000 is good.2. The Nvidia geforce 525m is it good enough to play medium range games and some Cad Programs?(I usually like racing games insted of games like "call of duty")
3.the intel hd3000,does it suits my needs?
Its not good that is the reason I don't suggest Lenovo Laptops to anyone, only the thinkpad series is good.4.How is the build quality of lenovo laptops?
So I suggest you to stay away from Lenovo laptopsLast edited by aroraanant; 24-04-2012 at 10:16 PM.
