downloads with chrome

I was just starting to use chrome and found a problem. Is there any way to integrate an external download manager (like fashgot plugin for firefox) with it or we have to copy the link to the download manager always.

As of now, you'll have to copy the link to an external DL manager. There's no such plugin for Chrome as of now.
