Website help needed->India related forum.

I have money to start a forum and also have good paid hosting.I plan to start a INDIA SPECIFIC forum which discusses everything about INDIA.I am not a pro in installing forums and in stuff like content addition.

What do you say guys,How do I go about it?

And if anyone of you are very keenly intetested in being admin for the forum and will take the responsibility of adding stuff and bringing in people,I would like you to PM me with your credentials.

You need a good Forum Software.

If you need a free one, go for phpBB (wait for phpBB3, or better get phpBB3 RC5 and upgrade to the final ver. after it is released soon)

The best one is vBulletin, Which costs $160! But its well worth it and its Secure (The one Digit is currently using)

Other Free Ones include SMF (not OpenSource), myBB, punBB, etc.

Installation is Easy, just refer the README files

If you have cPanel or DirectAdmin hosting.....you can install PHPbb or SMF (the most popular free forums) using Fantastico or Installatron

Otherwise, if you have bought vBulletin or IPB or other commercial script, you can ask their techs to install it for you or you can read the manuals attached or you can ask even the hosts to do it for

If you are serious about the forum, spend on vBulletin. It is worth the price.
