What download speeds do you get in your Wireless Data Card?

What is the download speed you get using your wireless data card?
1. Reliance Netconnect
2. Tata Indicom

I know that their websites say around 140kbps (~18KBps). But I want to know the actual figure.

Please mention the name of your city also.

I use Tata, Raliance and BSNL data cards

First thing - The speed depends on the distance from tower to your place a lot - of course that is not the only thing, but its a major factor - from my experience.

Now the speed

I am getting about 80 - 100 kbps in all three

Meantime, there are towers (for all three) near (not very close but within 1-5 kms) my place.

Plug 2 surf has no unlimited scheme. The 5 GB plan - 1500

Reliance and BSNL has unlimited plans

Onething is sure, when it comes to wireless internet with wide coverage, there isn't much options left. 15-20KBps speed is pathetic considering expenses.
