Firefox cannot download

i cannot save any kind of image from firefox. if i click on save image and go to the desktop, the image will not be there.. and for downloads the download window does not open and if i open when something is downloading it is empty..why is this happening? i have already re-installed firefox but with no avail

the image ll be saved in the default dest. folder.. Not on desktop.. Btw wat version of firefox u using?

the very latest..i downloaded it insatlled it just mins ago

chk the seeting of the firefox.

when u right click on d image and choose "save image as" option check the location where picture is saving.....

This problem should not happen.Go to the option tab from tools menu and check the settings.

Use Advanced Downloader Rather Than Firefox One By Specifying The Image Or The File URL
You Can Probably Find It On EVERY MONTH DIGIT DVD/CD

mayb the image is not cached ......... happens 2 me many times ...........

have you installed a downloader which is saving the file somewhere else and is doing silent monitoring and not prompting?
