Passwords and firefox

Hi guys,

My id got hacked so I created a new one. I mentioned that post earlier but nobody provided the solution.


I had a account with DCtorrents whose password I dont remember but its saved in firefox.

Now how can I retrieve that password.


I assure you I'm not hacking , its my password only.

Go to Edit (or Tools in case of Windows) --> Preferences --> Security tab.
Under Passwords field, click on "show passwords" and then "show passwords" again. This will show you all the passwords saved by firefox.

If it is not there, FF has not saved the password !!!

eddie is right. If your username and password isn't there, then Firefox hasn't saved it, or it saved it temporarily, for your current session. As soon as you closed Firefox, all the passwords got wiped out. Check your preferences if all your data is wiped out each time you end your session.

I always close the firefox. It is saved guys. Believe me
