How To Clear Search Text in Google or Rediff

hi there,

i need one solution whenever i search something in google or rediff i typed some text lets say i want to search about computer history but later on if i want to search anything with say computer only than earlier whatever i have typed like computer histroy comes automatically there so can any body tel me how to clear the content of search box ??
is it possible to clear the content of search like we clear document menu in windows

clear ur temp internet files and cookies
that should do it
or use this nifty tool called CCleaner to do it for u
very nice very small very effective

use google tool bar..it has an option to clear history

If you are using Internet Explorer then..
You need to clear AutoComplete content from ..
Tools-> Internet Options -> Content -> Autocomplete
