Internet connection using GPRS help!!

I have a Sony Ericsson t610 and am using Hutch connection and i enable GPRS, but the problem is that i cannot surf the web in my PC using the GPRS cnnection even though i can connect with a speed of 115 Kbps. Another question is that can I connect the internet using sony ericsson t230... please help?

u have 99Rs/month GPRS or 499Rs/month GPRS ??

99Rs will not allow u to serf from PC

First check that ur phone is detected as modem in ur PC...If not re-install d required drivers.
If yes, ask HUTCH that if they REALLY started ur GPRS facility...Otherwise check ur connectivity devices like IrDA or Bluetooth connection r working fine..!
In most cases , corrupt Windows and/or pirate phone software r responsible 4 d described problems...!

this is a simple problem....u have got a hutch connection with GPRS activated....this means that u must be having the 99bucks per month package....
U cannot surf internet by connecting thru that package.....
Another GPRS package of hutch is there which allows u to surf internet onur PC using ur phone's GPRS connection..it is for 499 or 199 i am not sure of that....
Call up hutch care and get the details...

Dude there only 99GPRS and 200 HUTCH ACCESS pack Hutch access pack is for surfing for pc.... and the charge is 50p per 10KB OMG...................... so 1MB=51.20/- Ahhhh very highhhhhhhh.....

its better to go through airtel. i have the connection through airtel which costs me rs 5 per day.and i have got it connected it through bluetooth and also through infra red.u try in some othere os if it gives u problem in win xp.i also got the same prob and then i installed in win 2003.its workink good there.

well as u can see u need to activet the WAP service..... that is going to cost u a lot....

& trust me the Speed is very BAD..... u will never get up of 1.5kbps with DAP.....

i suggest u go with CDMA connection.... or if u want cheap then go with airtel GPRS... its only 99rs/month..... nothing else......
