internet problems

i've got a mtnl broadband connection.for the past few daze its been givin me problems as in it suddenly stops workin..also sometimes when i leave the computer and come back after 15-20 mintues i find that its stopped workin.if i restart the comp or log off and login again the problem is solved..
cud nyone suggest a solution cuz i jus cant keep logging off and loggin in all the time.

may be your connection property is set to disconnect when it reaches a idle time limit (like screen savers).Try looking for this property value
