Internet speed prob.. Help plese....

I know this has been posted many times.... but i am confused

Ok I was getting 11 Kb/Sec when I had 48 KBPS connection. After tht I had not renewed my account and then after 6 or 7 months.....I have renewed my account with 64KBPS connection and also I have formatted my pc and installed windows xp SP2 with autopatcher July edtion........
but now I am getting 6-7 Kb/Sec ......

Q 1. Will I need to format my pc.
Q 2. I know many soft.. tht boost internet speed ple. suggest one.

I was searching on google and found tht... install this patch before installing SP2 ..... it increases the net speed......

Also tell how to boost internet speed in detail....

It really doesnt work with any software. Ive tried many but its only a gimmick.

Since u have 64kpbs, u get 6-7[48-56kpbs], 8kpbs is the max u can get. So wht ur getting now is gud.
