Default R internet connection ...


hi,

im using R internet connection from reliance (from mobile)
i want to download the one 250mb software
but my connection only able to connect 8 hrs continuously
(after 8 hrs it get DC)
after 8 hrs i have to again connect internet
so my download get infrupted and that server not supported any download managers

is any changes i have to make in my r connect dialer?

Your Mobile is LG or Samsung

LG can Charges the power and also Connect the Internet at a time.

Samsung i dont know.

Give your Mobile Model.

Seond one which Site you downloading the file rapidshare or megaupload ?

now why it gets DC?? pls tell us some details... is ur phone is out off charge or is it a connection drope....

any way... try FF or Netscape... their download manager is suppored by most site.... (by the way which site ur r downloading from??) & they can resume (though FF has some problem)....

yes im downloading from megaupload

Do u try Ping?
type Ping -t <any site name in Run dialog box and press Enter.

sorry to ask u.... but did u read that author said he was having a download going on at that time...?? so not an idle connection problem...

@Doddy

another thing u should do.. that is check ur internal Phone software version... just take that handset to ur nearest LG service center (Find it by *333).... as reliance have updated their network settings...

& guess what this software version update is free... totaly free no matter whether ur warranty is up or not....

Doddy you are downloading from Megaupload, OK

You can use Opera and its download manager,

Once your connection disconnected, or stopped

You can again connected net, use opera to go for the link u used, and wait for 45 seconds,

u see the "click here for Download" donot click here.

open the opera's transfer window and click the resume button and the download starts from disconnected.

repeat this procedure whenever u disconnected.

Finish u r huge downloads.

Use download managers like getright IDM etc to resume ur download.
