HDD not detected on one pc, detects on others..

Hi,

I recently bought a Seagate 500gb HDD.

I have two pcs one with an ASUS M2N-E MB and one with a Asrock 939A8X-M MB. The Asus mb supports 3gb/s, the Asrock doesnt. When i try my hdd on the asus mb it detects fine in the bios, but when i try it on the asrock mb it doesnt detect at all, even on 1.5gb/s transfer mode. I bought the asrock mb 3 months ago, so i really doubt its an outdated bios. Any advice?

just check with the mobo manual of asrock 4 HDD connectivity & compatibility

wats ur HDD...SATA or SATA2

Sata 1, if by sata1 you mean transfer rate, which is 1.5gb/s on my asrock mb.
