SMPS Indicator Blinks !!!

Hello everyone, I'm facing a problem with my sister's PC. It's a Compaq Presario bought two years back. The problem is that when you try to turn on the PC, there is no power. No sound, nothing... Only the SMPS power indicator blinks. This is the first time I heard that the power indicator blinks... Is there any problem with the SMPS or the motherboard coz few months back the random Blue-Screen used to pop-up which disappeared after replacing the RAM to a different memory slot. So what might be the problem ? Is there any problem with the motherboard brought-down by the RAM or is it simply the SMPS.

SMPS kharab ho gaya....tht's it...I guess...call the technician and ask him to luk closely...

Technician came and he checked the voltages I guess and he said that the SMPS is alright, might be problem with the Motherboard.

Get it replaced if under warranty

Replace what ??? Motherboard or SMPS ??? It's a Compaq Presario SR1930IL and it's 2+ years old. What do you think guys ??? Is it the Processor ?? Motherboard ?? SMPS ??
