Need help with PSP

Well I have a problem with my Memory Stick. Whenever I connect PSP to PC....Windows shows that you need to format the device. If I format the MS via Windows (in any format, FAT, exFAT, NTFS).....it states the capacity as 966kb (WTF)..I even tried formatting it via PSP...what shall I do ? I am on 3.71 M33-4 CFW.

Yes it shows the msg , i just format it from there. I continue my work without formatting . Always format it with PSP. Never got into details of why this happens.

Just checked my MS with Images>triangle>Information trick......its a duplicate .

No, it aint working fine .....and its almost 9-10 months since I bought ...I have one 2GB MS and one 4GB MS.....the 4GB on is the duplicate...so today I will go and get a genuine one . Thanks for replying though coz whenever I have a problem and post it, no-one replies .
