i just bought a HD4870 and a gigabyte 790gx motherboard.Which slot should i insert the graphics card in-the 8x or the 16x.Which is the 8x and 16x slot?

I think 16X bcause 4870 is a pci-e 2.0 x16 card....
Just refer 2 the mobo manual there u will get the diagram of the slot required
